Roads Authorities and Utilities Committee (Scotland) (RAUCS) have published an advice note giving guidance relating to the National Coring Programme 2019 - RAUC(S) Advice Note 3 - National Coring Programme 2019.

The following courses are available; SRWR for Roads Authorities on Tuesday 5 February, SRWR for Works Promoters on Wednesday 6 February and SRWR Advanced Noticing on Thursday 7 February.

Transport Scotland are running this consultation to seek your views on which technical parameters should be applied to "narrow trenching" to help ensure it is carried out consistently across all of Scotland’s 33 road authorities for the benefit of Scotland's road network. The consultation closes at midnight on 7 December 2018.

The following courses are available; SRWR for Roads Authorities on Tuesday 23 October, SRWR for Works Promoters on Wednesday 24 October and SRWR Advanced Noticing on Thursday 25 October.

The SRWR Works Promoter App is now available for Android, Windows 10 and Apple iOS devices. Organisations are strongly encouraged to make the transition in the interests of providing real time information to road users and organisations undertaking road works.

A new Transport Bill was introduced in Scottish Parliament today by Humza Yousaf, Scottish Government Minister for Transport and the Islands

A Commissioner Direction on entering personal information into the SRWR has been issued. This direction has been issued following discussions at RAUC(S) and Area RAUC; it defines the appropriate place for contact details to be recorded in the SRWR.

On 16 March 2018 Transport Scotland released their analysis of the responses to the consultation on raising standards and improving the quality of road works in Scotland.

Our Annual Report has been produced in accordance with the duties, set out in Schedule 2 of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005, and covers the 12 month period from April 2016 to March 2017.
