Road Works data recorded on the Scottish Road Works Register (SRWR) is now available as Open Data.
Open Data from the SRWR is available under the Open Government Licence v3, which can be found at:

Files can be downloaded at:

Data is available as a set of Comma Separated Value (CSV) files. Each file is compressed using the zip archive file format.
Data is split into multiple files to ease download.
There are two types of data files available, a Full Export containing all transactions recorded on the register with full details of each transaction and a Disruptions Export showing summary details of activities which could have a disruptive effect on the road network.
Full Export
The full export can be found at:

At any point in time the following CSV files will be available:
- one day of data up to and including the previous day (the SRWR is updated daily overnight).
- one month of data up to the start of the current month.
- one year of data up to the start of the current year (i.e. 31st March), and
- historic data

Disruptions Export
The disruptions export shows a summary of the activities which could have a disruptive effect on the road network. This is a daily extract of data from within the SRWR which includes Road Works, Events, Permissions, but not Potential Works.
