Scottish Road Works Online Accessibility

Accessibility Statement

The Scottish Road Works Commissioner is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This accessibility statement applies to content published on the roadworksscotland.org domain.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

The map element of the website that shows where works are taking place does not have a text alternative that can be read using screen reader technology.

Some of the map elements have a poor colour contrast against the background which could make some items difficult to see.

Some decorative images do not have alternative text.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 6 March 2025. It will be reviewed annually and will also be subject to evaluation and update following a substantial revision of the website.
