Scottish Coring Programme

The Coring Group is a standing working group reporting to RAUC(S). Its purpose is to advise on the procedures and specification to be used in implementing the National Coring Programmes in Scotland.

The National Coring Programmes are carried out periodically throughout Scotland and involve taking cores of completed reinstatements in the public road. These cores are then scrutinised to ensure compliance with standards with a view to achieving continual improvement in reinstatement quality.

The above procedures etc may be viewed in 'Advice Note 3'.
